"Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say infinitely when you mean very; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite."
C. S. LewisNovelist, scholar, broadcaster
Over twenty-years of experience has given us a little insight into what works, what doesn't work and what is worth trying.
It is incumbent for departments across any organization to communicate with one another in order to create content that is timely, exciting, and relevant. It is everyone’s job to look for opportunities to help tell the story.
The influence and impact of social media doesn’t have to be exemplified by Keith Olbermann’s suspension from ESPN to demonstrate the bearing it has in the public square or public affairs.
Social media isn’t something to be scared of, but incorporating it into your organization’s communication strategy takes planning, patience and time.
Today’s technological-society can offer no excuses for people not to stay in touch. We are always communicating but are we really connecting? Words count when each word has an impact and most importantly, is heard.
"The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people."
